A data look at the catalogue: average scene length, HD share and long-scene share for the biggest tags, the niches with the longest and shortest videos, and where new videos arrive fastest.

Most tube sites tell you how many videos a category has and nothing else. Because every video in our catalogue carries its duration, quality and tags, we can go further: how long a typical scene in a niche runs, what share is in HD, how much of it is full-length, and how fast it is growing. This article pulls those numbers together. All figures are live from the catalogue; the commentary reflects the standings on the day it was written.

The ten biggest tags compared

These are the largest tags by video count. "Long" means 20 minutes or more; "New, 30 days" is how many videos joined the tag in the last month.

Two things stand out. First, the HD share varies far more than the size does: Big Cock and Brunette are mostly HD, while Small Tits is largely SD, because so much of it comes from older amateur uploads. Second, length is remarkably consistent across the big tags, at roughly 14 to 19 minutes on average: the headline categories are a blend of clips and full scenes in similar proportions.

Where the long scenes are

Average length climbs once you leave the broad tags. Among tags with at least 2,000 videos, the longest are:

The pattern is clear. Vintage is full-length films from the era before clips existed, so over half of it runs past 20 minutes. Japanese and JAV Censored follow the JAV convention of long, multi-part releases. Group formats (Group Sex, Gangbang, Double Penetration) take longer by construction. Where the clips are

At the other end, the sub-tags that combine a theme with a format are dominated by short clips: MILF POV and POV Anal Sex average about 8 min, as does Busty MILF. Piercing is similar. These tags are filled from clip-sized uploads, so they are the place to look for quick scenes, and the wrong place to look for full productions.

HD share: studio versus amateur

HD share is mostly a proxy for the age and the source of a tag's videos. Studio-driven tags sit above 70%: Deepthroat is 81% HD, Big Cock 76%, Stockings 71%. Tags fed by amateur and older uploads sit far lower: Amateur 45%, Small Tits 33%, Blowjob 33%. The HD tag itself collects every HD video in one place, 264,719 of them.

Which niches are growing

Size tells you what has accumulated over the years; the "new in 30 days" column tells you what is arriving now. The busiest tags for new videos are the everyday ones (Blowjob, Big Tits, Big Ass, MILF), each gaining over a thousand videos a month. Relative to their size, smaller tags such as Cowgirl (13,345 videos, 1,656 new) and American (12,350 videos, 1,364 new) grow much faster. Performers and studios

Performer and studio pages carry the same statistics. MILF is most often associated with Cory Chase, Angela White, Danny D, Julia Ann and Keiran Lee; Anal with Mick Blue, Adriana Chechik, Abella Danger, Angela White and Markus Dupree.
